Well,
It’s finally here. The long awaited One Dollar Short
debut album.
And
I do have to say, that it rocks!. Compared to earlier
releases by ODS this album is a little bit deeper
than their melodic tunes we've previously heard
which is evident on their latest single released
from the album "Is This The Part?".
Some
stand out tunes for this album are 'Unsung Hero',
a song that in the last 6 months was added to their
set lists at gigs and proved to be a hit. ‘Satellite’
definitely one of the more 'poppier' songs on the
album and the opening track ‘Shots Were Fired’.
Look
out for some added vocals by Darren Thompson of
Thinktank on the track ‘The Letter’ and some noticeable
screams on the track ‘The Colour Red’ by Darren
Reid of Embodiment 12:14.
If
you get a chance to see these guys make sure you
go because they will rock your socks off. These
are a talented bunch with so much potential to be
one of Australia’s best punk rock bands.
So
go and support Australian punk bands and buy this
cd!!!
