Warped - This Is The Sound

In search of some hard-hitting, straight-up Aussie rock?….Yeah? Well look no further than Melbourne four-piece Warped, the crusaders of rock revival. Their latest release 'This is the Sound (Right Now)' is an energizing and refreshing track, sure to greater expose their growing face in the Oz rock scene.

Rock 'n' roll is a debatably dead genre. Releases with the same edge as Mark of Cain and early Shihad and Grinspoon, are all long since extinct. Imitation "rock" bands continue to plague the scene with their soft-core attempts at producing "rock".

This is the simple reason why captivated Australian audiences have welcomed Warped and their refreshing arrival onto the Australian music scene.

Warped lay down a generous six-track EP on 'This is the Sound (Right Now)' and is sure to impress fans both new and old. This single also gives great insight into the band itself, with some heart-felt goodbyes to their supporting 'Punters Club' and big hellos to fellow rockers Dern Rutledge in track two. 'This is the Sound (Right Now) is a fine example of the guys live talent, coughing up a pretty impressive performance on tracks 2-6.

This ballzy oz rock release is sure to revive die-hard rock fans, both gasping and spluttering for rejuvenation. The good news is it's still early days for this band. Warped have defiantly shown huge potential in this release to fuel the raw and heavy sounds of the future, sending rock lovers into a state of delirium.

Warped are a damn fine Aussie outfit, so be sure to send your support their way today.
