The
pound system boys are back with yet another taste
of some great pumpin' beats. The Melbourne duo's latest
track, 'As you were' dishes up a fine display of classic
homegrown drum & bass.
Woody
and Rev have been delivering groundbreaking drum &
bass tracks, since writing 'Tooled Up' in 97'. With
previous collaborations with the likes of Sarah Mcleoud
(The Superjesus), 28 Days, Josh Abraham's and many,
many more, this dynamic duo have defiantly already
proven their worthiness in the oz music scene.
This
track takes the band into deeper water with an edgier
progressive house sound to previous releases.
The
vibey 'As you were' track isn't a hardcore dance anthem,
and instead probably appeals to fans of trance and
chilled out genres. Definitely not recommended for
rock kids, your tolerance level will probably exceed
after the first ten seconds. But for those who wish
to pay homage to a truly remarkable Aussie outfit,
'As you were' is a fine track and defiantly worth
checking out.
