The
new release from the skyrocketing Superheist boys,
'7 years', sees the newest member Joey Biro taking
his first stab at the Heist's song writing. Superheist
must be congratulated for their smooth transition
from ex-front man, Rod 'Berger' Mcleod to Biro. The
vocal similarity is quite outstanding and few bands
manage to sustain the same amount of talent, success
and fans after the change of a lead man.
Superheists
are out with a new hard-hitting track, sure to please
fans, with new rougher and tougher vocals. Despite
the tracks edginess, the song still manages to remain
quite melodic with an intricate arrangement of screeching
highs and tranquilizing lows.
'7
years' may not be a timeless classic, or the pinnacle
of Superheists career, but it's still a jumpin' track,
proof of future potential. The single also gives us
a look at some live Big Day Out footage of the boys,
and is defiantly worth a few of your hard earned bucks.
