I think there is a better way to play that Eb chord to make it sound 
more like what Jerry is playing.

Strum from the bottom up, though.

Eb----0-------------------------

Eb----0---------3^bend about a whole step up

second part is something like:

Eb---------------------------------
Bb---------------------------------
Gb---------------------------------
Db-----2--2--3--3----3--5--3--2
Ab-----2--2--3--3----3--5--3--2
Eb-----------------------------------

Then when he comes back from the second part he doesn't do the first 
part until the second chord.  He just hits the third fret-top string 
bend then back to the first part.
