hello! this tab sounds all wrong. try this.... tune down a touch and play, C, Bb, F. i played along to the cd and it sounded spot on. solos are easy to figure out. just go along the 5th and 7th frets and use the 5th on the G as your root note. you can also use the 10th and 12th frets and have the 10th on the d and the 13th on the b as your focal points. sorry if i'm not making sense but i'm self taught and i don't know the technical terms! the little embellishments and solos are pretty easy to figure out. i'd tab them out if i had the time, but just play along to the cd! hope this helps! thanks! peace! ben perez ------------------------ The Waifs Highway 1 Capo 4 Saw these guys at the Sydney Big Day Out. Review = totally amazing. The whole song is the same three chords. Dress them up and play around with them and this song sounds real pretty. Intro - G F C G F C Highway one, twelve hour drive, I got a place I call mine. I got a space were I can breathe, I got my garden, I got my trees. And if you're ever out this way, And you still recall my name. I'm not that hard to find, I live on Highway one, twelve hour drive. And were gonna be, eating fish from a coal fire, Sleeping out side, Till the fires coal, Or till it gets to cold. If you come through late at night, I'll leave on my bedside light. I'm down the hall and to the right, baby you can Creep in and wake me And were gonna be, eating fish from a coal fire, Sleeping out side, Till the fires coal, Or till it gets to cold. It is doubtful I will tell, Where my love and I do lay. Or where my flowers grow. Highway one, twelve hour drive. Add your own solo's where they fall, and cut it up.
