FOR INSPIRATION
The other night I was watching TV and saw something awesome
regarding affiliate programs!
Basically this site owner had a tough time selling his product
-- so he turned to affiliate programs. After
reviewing hundreds of products and affiliate programs out there
-- his knowledge grew and people tarted
turning to him for advice and where to go to get things.
This gave him an idea...
He then turned his web site into an 'Information resource" He
added tonnes of useful articles, free tools, newsletters, resources,
links, reviews....the list goes on.
Since he had such quality information -- he came across as an
expert in his field and now had credibility!
As soon as he recommended ANY product to his visitors - people
bought immediately because if it's from him - it had to be good!
Even better -- he took it one step further...
He then sent an e-mail to all his subscribers that goes something
like this....
"How I Made A Fortune From Affiliate Programs" ...which of course
directed users to the 2nd tier level of the programs he was
affiliated with!
Not only did he make money by recommending products -- he also
made money by telling other people about his affiliate success
and getting percentage on the 2nd tier!
Today he works out of his condo in Hawaii and I heard he earns
nearly as much on the 2nd tier as the 1st.
How's that for an inspirational story!
